On race day, Sunday, April 3, check-in/registration will be from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. in Central Park at the registration tent near the start.

It's Tartan Week and the colorful Scotland Run returns to New York, along with pipe and drum band the Gutty Slippers. Participants have the chance of a prize trip to Glasgow, so dig out your kilt and follow the sound of bagpipes...all the way to Scotland

This is a scored race that counts toward the nine races NYRR members as of January 2005 need to be eligible for guaranteed entry to the ING New York City Marathon 2006.
