The show features none other than: Raymond Mearns
the much acclaimed Scottish Comedian whose exploits have taken him
to the point where he is now regarded as one of the finest comedians presently working in The United Kingdom
As well as regular live work in UK comedy clubs including The Stand, Jongleurs and the Comedy Store, Raymond has also had some success as a Film and television actor with appearances in The British Academy award winning short film "Home" and in "Ae Fond Kiss" directed by Ken Loach which is currently being shown regularly on Pay TV channels in the USA.

For this very special show Raymond will have a partner in crime and this will be Danny Lobell the feisty up and coming Scottish / American Stand Up who is currently making a name for himself as a fine satirist and keen observer of the human condition.
As well as extensive Live stage experiance Danny has had significant success within the fields of radio broadcasting and publishing as he is presently the CEO of "The Comical" a magazine aimed at the comedy going public of New York and the wider North Eastern States.

Laughs Across The Ocean is likely to be one of the hits of the Festival as Raymond and Danny Explore New York through the wide eyed wonder of a Scottish Tourist who will surely point out the eccentricities of many of the customs that dwellers in the Big Apple take for Granted.
At the same time you will laugh at the ramblings of a boy who was born and brought up in NYC but wants to take you on a sentimental journey back to the rolling hills of Scotland that should prove to be more mental than sentimental.
