    Membership Committee
    Manages membership renewals and membership campaigns. The Membership Committee processes all applications for membership and presents approved applications and fees to the Secretary.

    Highland Games and Festivals Committee
    To coordinate, manage and expand the level of active involvement of Club members of Highland Games in the tri-state area (CT, NJ and NY) and annual cultural festivals such as the Medieval Festival at the Cloisters in New York City.

    Hospitality Committee
    Coordinating and hosting various events. The Hospitality Committee will organize and carry out many social events throughout the year. The Hospitality Committee plans, purchases and prepares the food and beverages, sets up the buffet, and decorates.

    Community Relations Committee
    To facilitate relationships with local, regional, national, as well as international organizations.

    Events Committee
    Plans and manages quality events.

    Robert Burns Supper 2009 Committee
    To plan and manage the Club's annual Robert Burns event.

    Newsletter Committee
    Produces the Club's quarterly newsletter, in both print and web versions. In addition to reporting on Club events and activities, it includes news about our members and the entire NYC Scottish-American community.

    Marketing, Publicity and Merchandise Committee
    To increase public awareness of Scottish culture, and the New York Caledonian Club's ongoing events. The Committee also develops innovative ideas for merchandise to promote and advertise the Club.

    Scottish Studies Program Committee
    Plans and manages the Club's Scottish Studies Program.

    Volunteer Committee
    The purpose of the Volunteer Committee is to promote effective volunteering within the Caledonian Club. It attempts to match the skills, interests and time of the volunteers with the needs of the various Committees of the Club.

    Internal Committees within the Board

    By-Laws Committee
    To ensure the compliance of the Club's governing by-laws with both Federal and New York State law, the By-Laws committee will review and suggest changes to the By-Laws as needed.

    Finance Committee
    Comprised of the Board of Directors, provides for the financial stability and growth of the Club with sound stewardship. The Finance Committee produces an annual account of the use of the Club's funds, as well as an annual report. The Club's Treasurer traditionally serves as chair of the committee.

    Nominating Committee
    Recruits from the membership ranks for vacant Director and Officer positions as necessary.
